Mixtuur has fully integrated the keyboards with its proprietary layering software. This allows you to easily switch the desired key pressure or manual couplings on and off. Settings for key resistance or preferences per sample set are also directly within reach. This makes operation clear, practical, and straightforward. Where others stop at 250 grams, Mixtuur goes further. Through exclusive collaboration, the keyboards are uniquely adjustable up to 350 grams of key resistance. This allows the playing experience to more closely match that of historic pipe organs, enabling more focused practice of concert repertoire at home, in line with the characteristics of the pipe organ you intend to play.

Finish and Choice of Materials

Swiss spruce is used for the lower keys, specially treated to prevent warping. For the key coverings, you can choose from a range of wood types and materials. Each keyboard is handcrafted and fully tailored to your preferences.

The secret of a mechanical touch

Beneath each key, an electromagnet is installed. This allows key travel, resistance point, and return to be adjusted with precision. The keyboards feature a key travel of 13 mm and offer a natural, well-defined point of engagement. The result is a direct and familiar touch, making the performance of your repertoire both realistic and reliable.
