What is an organ instrument?<\/h2>\n

An original organ is a colossal musical instrument whereby clicking on keys creates sound which is pressed through the metal pipes. With the keys, the organist plays a large collection of pipes of different sizes. Because of the many different pipes and stops, many different sounds can be created.<\/p>\n

The organ instruments are often used in churches but nowadays they can also be found in living rooms. However, within the living room, people often choose the compact version of the organ, namely the electronic organ.<\/p>\n

Different types of organ instruments?<\/h2>\n

Within Mixtuur’s wide range of organs you will find organs in different shapes and sizes. We distinguish three different types of organs, which we list for you:<\/p>\n

  1. A pipe organ<\/strong>
    \nA pipe organ looks and sounds beautiful. This type of organ is made by hand, which makes it quite pricey.<\/li>\n
  2. An electronic organ<\/strong>
    \nThe electronic organ is a lot more compact and less pricey than the pipe organ. They offer more features but the sound is less realistic.<\/li>\n
  3. A combination or hybrid organ<\/strong>
    \nA combination organ is an existing pipe organ supplemented with electronically generated sounds. Hauptwerk is ideally suited as an extension to an existing pipe organ so that the sounds of the pipe organ can be supplemented with new voices.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
